Birds in a bucket (as my mom calls them). No,
this is not KFC's new menu advertisement.
We got these baby Timneh African Grey Parrots to be hand fed. After Pam
did extensive research into the how to and whys of hand feeding, she
thought she'd give it a try. By golly the little fellows have grown like weeds,
and I'll have to say that Pam did a real great job in raising them.
Here we are 13 weeks later. My, how they have grown. But it is time for
the babies to fly the coop. We ran ads in the local papers and on the
internet sights...Lucky, the unsexed one (but we feel was a male), has
gone to New York City (actually Lucky got his name from the terrible incident
of surviving a car accident going to his new home)....Gracie, one of the 2 surgically sexed females,
went to New Jersey to spend her happy life...and as you may have read on the "Bailey webpage",
Bailey the older female, will be staying with us...
